Father’s Day doesn’t seem to enjoy the same fanfare as Mother’s Day. In fact, 83% of people we surveyed said they are more likely to dine out for Mother’s Day than for Father’s Day.
What gives, guys?! Dad suffers through mom’s health-food kicks, foregoes his restaurant order because he knows the kids won’t even eat half of theirs, and secretly hates eating his veggies, too. Give the man the meal he deserves!

2. Brunch Can Be Manly Too – Hold the berries and bellinis, please. We’re talking about biscuits and gravy and steak and eggs. Breakfast and brunch are actually some of the most Man Food-friendly meals of the day. Did you know it’s acceptable to put bacon in Bloody Marys now? Hit the right breakfast buffet and you’ll find bacon, sausage, steak, pulled pork, prime rib, ham and corned beef all lined up for one meal. Spicy huevos rancheros or chilaquiles are sure to add a little hair on your chest, as will a good chorizo and cheddar scramble. Not manly enough for you? Try sausage biscuits, feauturing two buttermilk biscuits with crumbled sausage, cream gravy, two eggs and grits.
3. Did Someone Say Salad? – No, they did not. Salad is not a Man Food. But you know what is? Burgers! Much like steak, burgers can serve as the base for some of the most impressive Man Food creations out there. Take a beef patty and a bun and start piling on the fun to create the man meal of your dreams.
4. BBQ Can’t Be Beat – Most dads love to grill, but there’s more to barbecue than burgers and brats! Treat Dad to a different kind of barbecue this Father’s Day – one that features smoky sauces, pulled pork, brisket and ribs.
